US Open 1st Round Recap: 7 players shoot 69

The US Open, the worst golf tournament of the year, got underway today at Erin Hills in Wisconsin, and thanks to some rain earlier in the week, players were actually able to score and shoot some decent rounds.

In fact, seven players had nice rounds, coming in with a score of -3, or 69 on the Par 72 layout at Erin Hills.

Here are the seven golfers who shot 69 today:

Nicely done gentlemen.

Rickie Fowler is in the lead after 7-under 65, one stroke better than Paul Casey and something called a Xander Schauffele, who both fired 66.

Garrett Osborn is in last after carding an 83.
